ALI BEBO joined Hologic in February 2015, and entered the unchartered territory of the healthcare industry after an extensive twenty year career in retail. While the healthcare industry may have been new to Ali, taking a scientific, evidence-based approach was not, since her career at ANN INC. had been primarily focused on measurably driving business performance through talent, by relying on data, evidence and insight. The Gallup Business Journal article What’s More Important: Talent or Engagement?, featured retailer ANN INC’s 2014 study on what are the essential ingredients to high-performing managers and employees. Bebo firmly believes high-performing organizations achieve what others believe is impossible. She knows achieving Hologic’s‘impossible’ will make a big difference in the world. As the human resources leader for more than six thousand global employees, she devotes herself to figuring out what makes a person, a team or an organization unique and special. She believes innovation and performance can happen anywhere when people are fully connected with a purpose, customers, and colleagues. Before becoming a HR professional in 2000, Bebo held various district and store management positions in retail. She earned a BA in political science from UCLA. @hologic
