AMY GROSS, a member of the Liberty Mutual team since 2004, launched the company’s global private equity practice in 2020 which includes a global distribution and client management team as well as a middle market underwriting private equity vertical. Prior to this, she was vice president of the Northeast division of our national insurance risk management group, where she managed a team dedicated to our largest broker partners and clients. In these roles, Gross has earned credit for the profitability and growth of a large book of business that included many private equity clients and their portfolio companies. Gross holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Bentley University and a master’s degree in business from Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University. She received her CPCU designation in 2007 and completed the Executive Leadership Program at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018. Gross began her career as a risk-management casualty underwriter.
