Blythe D Berents

Blythe D Berents is vice president, financial solutions advisor for Merrill Edge®. Previously, Berents was with Banc of America Investments, Hambrecht & Quist and Morgan Stanley and brings over 17 years of experience in the investment industry.  With over ten years of working with Institutional equity clients, she brings her insights from that role to her relationships with individual clients.  In the early part of the last decade, she took advantage of a break in her career, traveled the world and ended up moving to West Africa, where she worked with political refugees from Sierra Leone, Liberia and Rwanda who were applying to migrate to the United States. In her role at Merrill Edge®, Berents has been a recognized leader for working with clients in conjunction with her colleagues at Bank of America’s US trust division.  She has worked with management within the Merrill Edge’s® preferred segment solutions to help clients delegate the management of their investments and free them to focus on the things that matter most by accessing Merrill Edge® Select Portfolios, which are turnkey investment solutions consisting of actively managed model portfolios designed to match one’s investment goals, time horizon and risk tolerance. Berents earned a B.A. in economics from Boston University.  She holds the Series 6, 7 63 and 66 licenses as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses.
