Dr. Anita Radhakrishnan

DR. ANITA RADHAKRISHNAN is an academic cardiologist with Allegheny Health Network Cardiovascular Institute, specializing in advanced cardiac imaging. She is skilled at detecting, treating and monitoring cardiovascular disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, and cardiac arrhythmias.  She has a special interest in cardio-oncology and women’s heart health. She is associate program director for the Cardiology Fellowship at Allegheny General Hospital and is a board member of American Heart Association in Pittsburgh.  She earned her medical degree from Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Chennai, India. She pursued her Internal Medicine Training and Cardiology Fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh and Advanced Cardiac Imaging Fellowship at University of South Florida. Dr. Radhakrishnan has been appointed as Allegheny Health Network CVI Diversity Equity Inclusivity Officer. She’s currently the co-investigator of the Northside Heart to Heart Project focused on providing equitable care for HTN and heart failure to underserved patients.
