Dr. Christina Farup
DR. CHRISTINA FARUP is vice president of transformation and change management for Johnson and Johnson medical devices. In this role, she helps to lead transformation and change management as it relates to evidence and strategy development for the medical device companies at Johnson and Johnson. In her prior role, she lead the health economics and market access function for the J&J Medical Devices Company in the United States, Canada and Latin America. Farup has over twenty years’ experience within Johnson and Johnson in the pharmaceutical and the medical device sectors, leading teams responsible for the evidence required for value-based healthcare, reimbursement and health policy related issues including quality, new payment models, comparative effectiveness, and patient reported outcomes. Most recently, Farup has been focused on the new alternative payment models under medicare in the US, and collaborating closely with external stakeholders on how to deliver value and better patient outcomes in these new models of healthcare delivery. Farup earned an MD from the Medical College of Virginia, completed her internship in family practice, and is board certified in Preventive Medicine. She completed her MS degree in preventive medicine at the University of Maryland. @jnjnews
