Emma Johnson Seventeen-year-old Emma Johnson launched EM JOHN Jewelry in eleventh grade by creating charm bracelets, posting photos on Instagram and having friends immediately ask to buy them. Johnson’s business goal: pre-paying for her college education. There’s a heated debate today about the value of higher education: Is college really worth it? Assuming an average cost of $200,000, Johnson wondered if she could earn the money before earning her degree. EM JOHN arm candy and bag charms are now sold online, in retail stores and through private charm parties. Each purchase not only brings a burst of sunshine to your day, but it also supports the EM JOHN College Challenge. @EmJohnJewelry
