Ingrid Jacobs
INGRID JACOBS is business diversity lead for Raytheon Corporate Functions. Raytheon Company, with 2013 sales of $24 billion and 63,000 employees worldwide, is a technology and innovation leader specializing in defense, security and civil markets throughout the world. Before joining Raytheon in 2014, Jacobs headed the global office of diversity and inclusion for Whirlpool Corporation. During her four years at Whirlpool, she was responsible for developing their diversity and inclusion strategy in alignment with the company’s business objectives and implementing it through the utilization of diversity analytics, diversity training, diversity talent acquisition and management of the seven Whirlpool Employee Resource Groups. Jacobs has over 15 years of HR experience in learning facilitation, university and executive recruitment as well as diversity and inclusion. She has worked in Chicago, San Francisco and Columbus for organizations such as: C.H. Robinson, Bank of America and The Limited Inc. Prior to joining Whirlpool Corporation, Jacobs was the diversity program manager at Fifth Third Bank. During her five years there, she was heavily focused on collaborating with line of business leaders to develop corporate diversity strategies. Jacobs earned an M.S. in education in human resource development from Xavier University and a B.S. in agricultural business from the Ohio State University. @raytheon
