Jan Schwartz

JAN SCHWARTZ is senior director of engineering for enterprise management tools at Oracle Corporation. Her responsibilities include driving the development of monitoring and management software which is used to keep data centers running optimally.  Throughout her career, she has worked in software consulting and development, focusing on extreme scale and high throughput systems primarily for the financial and manufacturing industries.  Schwartz holds a patent for Interactive topological views of combined hardware and software systems.  In addition to her day job, she volunteers for a number of civic organizations including as a board member of Dollars for Scholars, a mentor and judge for the US First Robotics which inspires students in STEM, and she is an active member of the Oracle Women’s Leadership program.  Schwartz earned a MS from Lally School of Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. @oracle
