Janielle Newland

Janielle Newland is a human resources leader with 18 years of experience focused on global talent topics within the health, bioscience and financial services industries.  Throughout her career, Newland has coached companies and individuals alike on how to build, or strengthen their brand, and navigate the ever changing market and technology channels.  Currently serving as head of North American recruiting with U.S. affiliates of Merck KGaA Darmstadt, EMD Serono and EMD Millipore. She has been focusing on building local and global programs and processes that will continue to attract and develop innovative talent to EMD Serono and EMD Millipore for years to come.  Newland earned a B.S. from Northeastern University with a focus in business and human resource management and completed Babson’s Women’s Leadership Program.
