Jeannette M. Mills
JEANNETTE M. MILLS is the senior vice president of safety, health, environmental & assurance at National Grid. She’s responsible for providing a high-level of protection for human health, safety, and public welfare within the company’s US region. Prior to joining National Grid, Mills was appointed by Governor Lawrence J. Hogan to the Maryland Public Service Commission as a member of a five-person panel regulating gas, electric, telephone, water, sewage disposal, and transportation companies. She also served as the executive vice president of Take Shape for Life, a division of Medifast, as a member of their Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Compensation Committee. Mills launched her career as an associate engineer with Baltimore Gas and Electric in Baltimore, Maryland and advanced to the rank of vice president and chief customer officer. She has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Loyola University.
