Jennifer Tierney
Jennifer Tierney manages life and long-term care distribution for John Hancock Insurance. She is also responsible for sales and the management of our national brokerage distribution relationships, including multiple independent marketing organizations, producer groups and independent broker dealers. She manages a team of 32 national account vice presidents, national account directors and regional account distribution managers, who support and help grow relationships with our distribution partners. Working closely with John Hancock’s product and marketing groups, she has successfully developed innovative marketing programs and national sales initiatives across all life distribution channels. Tierney joined the U.S. life sales division 11 years ago, holding a number of key roles, including senior sales coordinator, national account director and national account vice president. She received the company’s highest sales award — the exclusive John Hancock President’s Club — in three consecutive years from 2008 to 2010. She was also recognized as the Key Account Manager of the Year by a top firm in 2007. Prior to joining John Hancock, Tierney worked in operations at Investors Bank and Trust in Boston, M.A. and as a retirement specialist at The Vanguard Group in Malvern, P.A. Tierney is currently a member of AALU and Cambridge Who’s Who. Tierney earned a B.S. in finance from Ithaca College, and also a M.A. Life License, and Series 6 and 63 licenses. @johnhancockusa
