Kate Bachman

KATE BACHMAN is an award-winning public relations professional with years of agency experience specializing in media relations, social media and strategic communications. She has worked with clients in the financial, health care, technology and legal industries to launch social media campaigns, manage crisis situations and raise visibility. Her clients have been featured in BusinessWeek, The Boston Globe, CBS Evening News, USAToday and the Associated Press. In 2012, Bachman was presented with the Maine Public Relations Council’s inaugural Rising Star award, an award that recognizes a young public relations professional who has exhibited extraordinary achievement and outstanding work in the industry.  She has lead seminars on public relations measurement and reputation management as well as counseled businesses on social networking best practices. Bachman is a graduate of Mercer University and earned a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in integrated marketing communications. She is currently a senior member of the PR team at Industrium in Portland, Maine. She serves a marketing chair on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Maine and is a Wish Granter for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Maine.  @chiokate
