Kate Reed
KATE REED is the vice president for IBM Security’s performance marketing discipline. She is responsible for the design and execution of demand generation programs and more than five hundred global events that drive awareness and pipeline for the largest enterprise security program in the world. Leading an organization of over fifty marketing professionals, Reed’s team leverages agile practices to help bring the IBM Security story and values to life through innovative campaigns, digital experiences and memorable events. With over 17,000 IBM Security clients, she emphasizes marketing’s role in developing a compelling client journey and creating a client-centric marketing mindset that helps drive sales success. Reed’s more than sixteen years of experience spans marketing and communication roles across multiple IBM businesses. Reed earned her master’s degree in communications from Clark University, and a BS in history and political science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. @ibmsecurity
