Kelly McKenna

KELLY McKENNA is global head for State Street’s Center for Applied Research, for which she oversees strategy and operations. Her team has a global footprint across Americas, EMEA and APAC, and is responsible for providing executives with strategic insights into issues that will shape the future of the investment management industry. The Center brings together resources within the financial services industry and across State Street to produce timely research on the topics that are most important to investors worldwide. McKenna reports to a member of State Street’s management committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy making team. Prior to rejoining State Street in 2010, she held a senior role at Bank of New York Mellon in sales and sales leadership. McKenna is an active leader and participant in State Street’s Global Mentoring program, is a global advisory board member of State Street’s Professional Women’s Network and a member of the State Street Innovation board. She is also a member of The Boston Club, is a member of the board of directors for the Island Creek Oyster Foundation and a member of the board of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable.
