Laura Slatkin
Laura Slatkin is the founder and CEO of NEST Fragrances, a luxury lifestyle beauty brand, and co-founder and board president of New York Collaborates for Autism. NYCA is an organization dedicated to creating innovative programs that address the needs of individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Slatkin began her career at Lehman Brothers where she worked for 13 years, earning the title of senior vice president. Following her successful Wall Street career, in 1994 she joined forces with her husband, Harry Slatkin, and together they founded Slatkin & Co., a luxury home fragrance company. In 2005, Slatkin & Co. was acquired by Limited Brands and Slatkin went on to found NEST Fragrances. Slaktin serves on the board of directors of Autism Speaks, NYCA Charter School, Columbia University Department of Psychiatry, Hunter College Autism Board, New England Center for Children and the Henry Street Settlement House. @LauraSlatkin nestfragrances.com
