Laura Vail Wooster
Laura Vail Wooster is vice president and head of marketing and communications for John Hancock’s insurance division. In this capacity, Wooster oversees a team responsible for advertising, creative services, digital marketing, internal and external communications, market research, product promotions, public relations and websites for John Hancock Insurance. Her team has won numerous industry awards for their creative marketing campaigns and websites. She has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years across multiple product lines. Previously she has been responsible for various aspects of insurance marketing, including communications, consumer and producer websites, and innovative marketing programs. Wooster earned an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. She serves on the board of the Powers Music School in Belmont, Massachusetts, actively supports the United Way, Dana Farber/Jimmy Fund, the advancement of women and other social causes. @johnhancockusa
