Laurie Knocke

LAURIE KNOCKE is senior employment counsel at Boston Scientific Corporation. In this role, she advises and counsels Boston Scientific’s cardiology, rhythm and vascular businesses on all aspects of employment related matters including performance, employee relations, compensation and pay equity, diversity initiatives, hiring, acquisitions, and legal proceedings. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Knocke was a partner in the Twin Cities law firms of Gray Plant Mooty and Winthrop & Weinstine, where she represented employers and employees in a wide variety of employment matters including discrimination, harassment, whistleblower and retaliation issues, employee performance and termination, reductions in force, employee leaves, wage and hour matters, litigation and mediation.  During her time in private practice, she successfully litigated and resolved seven class action discrimination matters and negotiated settlements and consent decrees.  She has served on a variety initiatives and committees including Winthrop’s board of directors, and as chair of its Employment Law Practice Group and administrative committee, and as chair of the Gray Plant Culture and Diversity Committee.  She earned her JD from the University of Minnesota Law School. @bostonsci
