Mike Scannell

Mike Scannell is senior vice present, global head of talent acquisition and head of State Street’s global inclusion initiative. In this capacity, his talent acquisition focus is on identifying, attracting and hiring highly talented and diverse individuals. Throughout his 18 years in global human resources, Scannell has held several HR management positions. Prior duties included chief human resources business partner for State Street’s largest business areas in investor services North America and North America sales. Scannell joined State Street in 1987 and held several positions in the US Mutual Fund operations area, servicing large client relationships prior to transitioning to global human resources. He serves on the board of directors of Ellis Memorial House and is also a member of ALPFA Boston’s corporate advisory board. Additionally, he is a mentor with the Year Up organization and participates in Boston Partners in Education’s Big Cheese Reads program. Scannell also serves  on The Partnership’s executive council, Boston Business Journal leaders in diversity steering committee and the Rosoff Award Committee. Scannell earned a B.A. from Stonehill College and certification from Northeastern University in human resources management.
