Mona Patel
MONA PATEL is vice president of clinical training and fellowship education for the neuromodulation division with Boston Scientific. Her team has developed numerous novel training programs and tools that have contributed to Boston Scientific’s significant growth in Neuromodulation. Prior to her current role, Patel was the VP of marketing for the neuromodulation division. She launched the first rechargeable Spinal Cord Stimulator into the marketplace, the Precision System and established a presence for Boston Scientific in the Neuromodulation. She built the function from the ground up and helped the division grow from an unknown start-up to leaders in the neuromodulation space. Prior to joining Boston Scientific, Patel spent eight years working in various positions at Guidant in marketing and in business development in their cardiac surgery division. In her role in business development, she led a $300M acquisition of a novel ablation technology. In her role in marketing, she drove the introduction of endoscopic vessel harvesting, which went from a new procedure to standard of care in CABG surgery in less than six years. Patel earned a BSE in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. @bostonsci
