Sheila Jordan
Sheila Jordan is senior vice president of communication and collaboration IT at Cisco Systems, reporting to CIO Rebecca Jacoby. Since joining Cisco in 2005, she has assumed increasing leadership responsibilities within the IT organization and was promoted to her current position in November 2011. Jordan plays a key role in Cisco’s corporate governance by co-chairing the Communications and Collaboration board, and Workforce Experience board. She has been recognized internally at Cisco with the 2010 Executive Sponsor Catalyst award for her leadership and commitment in developing successful relationships with customers, including several Fortune 100 companies. In addition, Jordan was named by CIO magazine as “One to Watch” in 2011. Her perspective on Cisco’s collaboration initiative is included in the business book, “The Transformational CIO: Leadership and Innovation Strategies for IT Executives in a Rapidly Changing World” by author Hunter Muller. Jordan has previously served as the co-chair of the South Bay (San Jose, CA) chapter of the March of Dimes “March for Babies.” Jordan earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Central Florida and an master’s degree from Florida Institute of Technology.
