SHELLEE MENDES is the entrepreneurial founder, owner and stylist of not one but two hair salons – the Salon Monet duo on Boston’s chic Newbury Street serving a diverse, multicultural clientele. An inspirational speaker and committed philanthropist, Mendes always finds time to give a hand up to causes that help children, women and families, including serving on the Boston Arts Academy Foundation Board. She never stops! Mendes is the recipient of multiple honors and awards, serves a host of celebrity clients, and has been spotted chatting with Oprah on the Holland America Alaska Cruise. Last year the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce honored her with the Small Business “Main Street” Award.
