Simone Stewart

SIMONE STEWART is a senior director for Akamai’s web strategy and operations organization based in Laurel, MD.  She leads a team of program managers focused on driving global programs and transformation efforts to improve sales productivity and business outcomes.  In addition to her primary role, Stewart founded the Ohana (Hawaiian for family) employee resource group to drive diversity programming for people of color.  Previously, she spent thirteen years at Accenture, where she developed her expertise in digital analytics and delivery excellence working primarily in the media and entertainment industry. As one of the highest ranking black female executives at Akamai, Simone attributes her success to leading with her values and to being able to make the tough calls in the face of opposition. @akamai
