Gabrielle Simpson Gambrell

GABRIELLE SIMPSON GAMBRELL is a communications, branding and media expert. She’s vice president and head of marketing and communications at Barnard College of Columbia University. She’s also a NYU professor who teaches integrated marketing, digital and social media, media relations, corporate communications, and more. Her career has spanned tenures at many world-renowned media giants, including Comcast NBCUniversal, CBS Corporation and ABC, all by the age of twenty seven. Gambrell is an authority on diversity and inclusion and career development. She’s an honors graduate of Iona College, graduating with an MA in sports and entertainment, and a BA in television, video production and film.  She received the Rising Star Award in 2018 for early-career achievements. Gambrell has been named to PRWeek’s 2019 Hall of Femme list of Women To Watch, as one of twenty eight trailblazing women who are shaping communications. @_giftofgab_
