Susan Hayes
SUSAN HAYES is a supply chain vice president in product operations, with Cisco Systems, Inc. Hayes’ responsibilities include new product introduction, product lifecycle, and data management, offer enablement, and transformation. After spending her career working in high technology supply chains for both fortune 500 companies and startups, she knows what truly drives successful new product introduction, world class cost and quality—and it’s not rigid process and governance. Since joining Cisco in 2005, Hayes has been building supply chain teams that launched new billion-dollar product categories such as TelePresence Collaboration products, and Nexus 9000 data center software defined networking switches. Hayes delivers programs like development supply chain to create a digital thread throughout the development process by bringing data to the point of design decision, and third party software digitization to create a platform to automatically scan, identify and manage open source and commercial software. Hayes is the executive sponsor and founding member of Cisco iWise, supply chain’s employee advocacy group for women, celebrating its ten year anniversary with chapters globally. Hayes earned a BS in mechanical engineering from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst, and an MBA from Boston University. @cisco
