Tiffany Shlain

TIFFANY SHLAIN was honored by Newsweekas one of the Women Shaping the 21st Century. She is an Emmy-nominated filmmaker, founder of The Webby Awards, and author of 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day A Week. Her work towards gender equality includes created the film 50/50: The 10,000 Year History of Women + Power, 50/50 Day,and award-winning films for Planned Parenthood. Shlain’s films and work have received over eighty awards and distinctions including being selected for the Albert Einstein Foundation Genius: 100 Visions of the Future. NPR names her UCBerkeley address on its list of best commencement speeches, and her films have premiered at top festivals including Sundance.
