Wendy Carruthers

Wendy Carruthers is senior vice president of human resources for Boston Scientific Corporation and a member of its executive committee. In this role, she oversees the company’s human resources activities globally, including HR operations and services, total rewards, talent management and diversity and inclusion.Prior to her current role, Carruthers served since January 2011 as vice president of global talent management for Boston Scientific, responsible for all aspects of global talent management including the design, development and implementation of global processes and systems to enable managers to identify, attract, leverage and develop people. Carruthers has been with Boston Scientific since 2004 and was previously vice president of human resources for the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, based in Paris. A native of Great Britain, Carruthers has lived and worked in the U.K., France, Italy, Australia and the United States. She holds a B.A. First Class Honors Degree in modern languages and is a graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
